Learning Spanish with Jose has been such a great experience! He’s incredibly patient and never makes me feel uncomfortable when I make mistakes. He goes with my pace. If something feels overwhelming, he simplifies it first and then builds it up. Sometimes I pick things up quickly, other times I completely blank out, and he’s always flexible with that. He explains grammar so clearly (which I personally love), and if I don’t get it right away, he finds another way to explain until it clicks. He challenges me in a way that pushes me to improve without ever making me feel bad. On top of that, he has such good energy and makes lessons feel more like conversations with a friend. He’s also flexible with scheduling while still taking time to prepare and personalize each class for his students. I always leave lessons feeling like I’ve really understood and learned something new. I can’t recommend learning Spanish from Jose enough!

A teacher and a friend 💎 I moved to Barcelona 3 years ago and I didn't speak any Spanish before taking classes with José. After two years of lessons, now I'm very comfortable. He's very patient and brings an amazing energy in his classes, talking about culture, and topics that are actually useful for everyday life. His energy, Spanish lessons and even life lessons were so invaluable for me - he made this life transition super enjoyable, and I can never thank him enough. I recommend his classes 100% ❤️

I did a search online as I was looking to learn Spanish, and I came across a recommendation written from someone on Facebook and I received the details for Jose and his company - Embrujo Castellano Spanish online.
It is very difficult to say how much I love these classes, and it has become a ritual for me, not only am I learning a new language, I have also made friends because of this class. What I appreciate the most about these online classes is that José has never once made me feel like I was not doing well or that I was stupid, he uses humour and a very gentle way of getting the words to somehow magically stick into my head!
I have had the pleasure of meeting José in person and doing interactive classes with him in Malaga and was able to learn and practice and see the sights with him and learn even more Spanish, we were asked to leave the art museum because we were laughing so much at all the funny pictures.
I highly recommend José and his classes. There is a depth to him and his work and his work ethics that I truly enjoy.

Durante todo el tiempo que estudiamos juntos he visto tus enormes progresos, tanto que, como siempre te digo, espero el día en el que ganes un Oscar y en el discurso me nombres, jajajaja! I had a good experience learning Spanish with Jose for 2 months. My language level improved drastically from only being able to buy coffee, to actual conversation. I selected him as he offers in person classes, and we visited various interesting spots around town to talk and learn about them. Definitely more interesting than sitting inside a classroom, or worse, online in front of a computer.
Languages has always been a skill that I have struggled to a grasp of and disliked learning.
When I came to move to Spain, I decided to really commit to learning Spanish.
When I found Jose, he was super nice! Throughout my time with him, he was always super patient and engaged with my learning. The lessons he provided was not just any simple ‘language’ lesson; he opened my eyes to the wider culture to really understanding the spirit of learning the language.
Jose always tailored around my learning style and understands the commitments this needs. Whenever he was in the area, he would always jump at the chance in learning in person which I really appreciate.
I have no moved back to the UK, however I have come out really appreciating the learning process of learning a language and to actually have fun with it! With Jose, as well as coming out of it knowing a new teacher; I came out having a new friend!
